Simple Syrup
Our Amish neighbor, Gertie Nisely, uses organically-grown fruits, herbs, and edible flowers from our farm to produce syrups to use with pancakes, waffles, coffees, teas, and other beverages. Elderberry Syrup: elderberries, sugar, fruit pectin, lemon juice, butter (cream, salt). Mint Syrup: mint tea (water, mint), fruit pectin, sugar, green food coloring, (water, glycerine, FD&C blue #1, FD&C yellow #5 & yellow #6, citric acid, sodium benzoate).
